Vaathi Day 4 Box Office Collection: Dhanush's Action Drama Achieves Break-Even In Telugu; Enters Profit Zone

The Telugu version has collected about Rs 16.5 Crore within the first four days, which is higher than any other Dhanush's dubbing films' collection so far. The figure indicates that Dhanush has a good market in Telugu.

Dhanush's latest action drama shot in Tamil and Telugu; titled Vaathi aka Sir, is running successfully at the theatres in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. Written and directed by Venky Atluri, the movie marks the Telugu debut of Dhanush and the Tamil debut of Venky Atluri. Malayalam actress Samyuktha acted as the film's female lead.

The movie is raving positive reviews for its content, performances, and technicalities. Dhanush, with his impeccable skills, has taken the movie's story a notch higher with his portrayal of the character Bala. The movie achieved break-even and entered the profit-making zone.

The film stars P Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadi, Sha Ra, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Ranjendran, Hareesh Peradi, Praveena, Ken Karunas, and Narra Srinivas in pivotal characters. Actor Akkineni Sumanth appeared in a cameo.
Y Yuvaraj worked as the cinematographer of the movie. Naveen Nooli edited the film which has soulful songs and a soundtrack composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Sai Soujanya and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments bankrolled the movie in association with Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios. The movie is made as a bilingual on a budget of Rs 30 Crore.
