Vanitha Vijaykumar is now one of the trending celebrities in the south-Indian industries for various reasons. The actress, who always is at the center of the spotlight, has now earned recognition and applause for her character in VK Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh-starrer 'Malli Pelli.'

Vanitha got married thrice and is a mother of two children, a boy, and a girl. Her tumultuous life and choices have made her a desperate person. Vanitha's outspokenness and attitude have not gone down well with her family members, who disowned her.

However, after her successful stint in the most-popular reality show on Tamil television, Bigg Boss, Vanitha started gaining a strong fanbase, appreciation, and more work.

She played the role of Soumya Sethupathi, Narendra's third wife in the movie Malli Pelli, which is an auto-biography of veteran actor VK Naresh. Vanitha is receiving critical acclaim for her portrayal.

Sharing about her struggles after being disowned by her family, Vanitha said, "My friends took care of my children when I was away for shooting. People wanted to take advantage of the situation and that s when the actual problem started. My own son was brainwashed against me. Even my father believed in it and thought of securing my son from me, by taking him away. On the same issue, I had to go to Supreme Court to finally win the battle. Amid all this, I had to divorce for the second time."

Vanitha also mentioned her mother had tried to save her. Shedding some light on those times, an emotional Vanitha said that her mother, the late actress Manjula realized that everyone is going to betray her. "Before death, she was close to me and even told me that she will leave a property in my name. She asked me to call upon Ram Jethmalani, the famous lawyer, and the media. I took her to the hospital. I discouraged her then, citing her ill health. But after her death, I was troubled by my family."
