Finally the day of yet another Tollywood's soon-to-be couple Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi's official engagement has dawned upon all of the actor and actress's fans. The couple is said to be exchanging rings in the presence of their immediate family and friends on June 9 in Hyderabad.

The couple enjoyed an elaborate fancy holiday together in the beautiful city of love, Rome, before coming back to India. The rumours about their impending engagement surfaced online when they are in Rome.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi Lived-In Together

Reportedly, Varun Tej has become independent and started living separately from his parents- at Nagababu's house, four years ago. He was living in a flat and had been shuttling between Mumbai and Hyderabad to meet up with Lavanya. When Lavanya is in Hyderabad, the duo lived together.

Varun Tej Proposed With A Diamond Rock

The Gandeevadhari Arjun actor reportedly flew down to Bengaluru before the couple jetted off to Rome for a holiday together, before publicly announcing their relationship status. It is learned that Tollywood's tallest actor spent about Rs 25 Lakh on a diamond solitaire for his lady love Lavanya Tripathi. The duo had a dreamy yet personalized proposal moment and Varun was said to have got down on his knees while popping the big question of his life.

Lavanya, who has been waiting for the moment has reportedly jumped at it as she embraced Varun before accepting the ring.

The actor will be next seen in a powerful role as 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna' in the role of Arjun Varma. The movie will hit the screens on August 25.

Meanwhile, Lavanya, whose recent film was Happy Birthday, a sci-fi comedy thriller in which she played a dual role, has enthralled the viewers with a web series titled Puli Meka. Now, the actress will now be seen in a Tamil movie titled Thanal.
