Tollywood's lovebirds Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi are now officially engaged and are a couple. The two Tollywood actors exchanged rings in the presence of their parents and immediate families.

For the close-knit engagement ceremony, Varun Tej chose to wear a traditional outfit designed by ace designer Tarun Tahiliani. His fiance Lavanya opted for an ethnic ensemble by designer Anita Dongre, reportedly. The couple looked very much in love and complimented each other with their outfits for the most special occasion of their lives.

The duo looked radiant and were all smiles as they embarked on a big and happiest phase of their lives, together. While Varun Tej kept it simple with a ivory coloured Kurta, Lavanya chose a lime green coloured Banaras saree which was embellished border. She paired it up with a matching blouse.

The Happy Birthday actress wore diamond polki jewelry with emerald highlights and tied her hair in a round bun. She rounded it off with a string of jasmine flowers. She was seen leaving to the venue in a car, which was her first glimpse from the event.

Sharing his joy with his fans, the Gaandeevadhari Arjun actor shared a set of pictures from the intimate ceremony and captioned it, "Found my Lav! (sic)." Check out the tweet here:

The couple first met (reportedly) during the filming of one of their films titled Mister, in which they played the lead roles. Later, they both collaborated for another movie titled Antariksham 9000 KMPH. They are friends first and later fell for eachother. Many a time Varun and Lavanya were spotted working out at the same gym.

While the date of their engagement ceremony was revealed a couple of days before D-Day, the date of the impending wedding was yet to be revealed. Reportedly, both side families are considering to get them married towards the end of the year but any decision as such was not taken yet.
