Finally, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have become man and wife after tying the nuptial knot in the traditional Hindu style ceremony at a beautiful Tuscan setting in Italy, amid family members and close friends. The private event was nothing short of a fairytale as Tollywood's newest couple have entered a new phase of their lives together.

Designed by Manish Malhotra, the wedding outfits screamed brilliance, and the duo as they looked stunning in them, looked gleaming and fully engrossed in each other during the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony started with a dhol and a baraat where Varun Tej entered the venue in a luxury vintage Porsche, driven by Ram Charan as the marriage party of the bride and groom cheered for them in the front. The guests were seen strictly following the dress code of 'pastels' for the ceremony.

A small video clip of the baraat is now going viral on the internet as the event management company shared on their Instagram handle. Groom's father Naga Babu and sister Niharika Konidela were seen grooving to the dhol beats in front of the mandap.

The mandap was traditional for the wedding, to go with the proper Hindu-style rituals. The four-pillared mandap was decked with flowers and drapes in ruby red. Check out the first pictures here.

The 'Jeelakarra-Bellam' happened on time at the exact muhurtham (auspicious time) of 7.19 p.m. IST and then followed the proper wedding rituals of tying the 'Thali,' proceeded by change of attire and Thalambralu, which was super fun due to the presence of cousins and friends. Before the muhurtham, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi performed pujas to the Lakshmi (Gouri) Devi separately with their families.

Varun Tej has opted for a cream-gold Sherwani with a silk dhoti, which is heavily embroidered under the guidance of ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Tollywood celebrity stylists Ashwin Mawle and Hassan Khan helped Varun Tej put his wedding look spot on. To compliment him and to stand out as a gleaming bride, Lavanya Tripathi chose a ruby red-coloured Kanchipuram silk saree along with a sheer veil in matching colour. Although not much of its exclusive details are out yet, the 'Happy Birthday' actress tied her hair in a classic bun and rounded off the look with a string of mogra. She and her mother are spotted performing the puja ahead of the muhurtham on the mandap as Varun Tej and other guests enjoyed the dhol.

The wedding ritual was later followed by a grand after-party reception in which the couple changed into an electric blue embellished gown with a dramatic cape (Lavanya Tripathi), and a black Swarovski worked tuxedo (Varun) designed by Manish Malhotra again.

For the reception that follows at night, Varun will change into a Swarovski crystals-embellished tux made by Manish Malhotra again while Lavanya will dress up in striking contrast to his, in an electric blue heavily embellished gown with crystals. The reception outfit is reportedly said to have a dramatic cape that is a highlight. We can't wait to see the new couple in their most blissful state.
