Finally, it is happening- the wedding of Tollywood lovebirds
Lavanya Tripathi and Varun Tej. The couple kick-started their wedding celebrations with a Cocktail event they hosted for about 150 close people comprising family and friends at a medieval 8th-century hamlet in Italy, Borgo San Felice, which is now a luxury hotel nestled in the beautiful Tuscany.

The venue for the three-day event was decked up with florals and lights to celebrate the wedding of Varun Tej and Lavanya, with the people they value. The couple looked resplendent as they showed up in matching outfits made by an ace designer in all-white. Accordingly, they asked the guests to turn up in a dress code 'Black Tie' which means that everyone has to wear a black-coloured tie for sure, to blend in at the party.

The images from the evening hit the social media platforms and are now being gorged upon by the fans of the mega family heroes, including the first Telugu hero to win the National Award for an Actor, Allu Arjun. The families came together to celebrate the wedding of their cousin and have also posted several other pictures from their sweet holiday to Italy, ahead of the wedding. Ram Charan and Allu Arjun with their wives had a great time during the event, safe to assume going through the pics.

Apart from the parents and siblings of the bride and groom, the family included Megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha with their three children and families-including Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni. Allu Arjun with his wife Sneha Reddy and parents Allu Aravind, along with his brothers Allu Bobby and Allu Sirish, Varun Tej's cousins and Tollywood actors Sai Dharam Tej, Vaisshnav Tej along with their parents were all in attendance.

Why Italy For Varun Tej & Lavanya Tripathi's Destination Wedding

The couple met for the first time during the filming of their 2016 film 'Mister.' The filming took place in Italy under the direction of Srinu Vaitla. That is the place where they grew fond of each other and fell in love. Before their engagement on June 9, 2023, the couple flew to Italy to finalize their wedding venue and wanted to make their journey of love remarkable by tying the knot at the same place.

Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu's younger brother Pawan Kalyan also flew to the destination with his wife Anna Lezhneva in tow. His children from his ex-wife Renu Desai, Akira Nandan, and Aadya are also part of the events. Actor Nithiin and his wife Shalini Kandukuri also joined the couple to mark their special occasion among many others.

Haldi, Mehendi, Hindu Wedding, & Reception
On the 31st, there will be a traditional Haldi and Mehendi ceremony followed by a pool party at the venue. The wedding rituals will be organized as per the Hindu tradition on November 1, followed by a reception.
