Time is ticking for the grand fairytale 'Pastel' themed Hindu wedding of Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, one of the adorable couples of the Tollywood industry. The actors who met in 2016 for a film have fallen in love and are now taking the plunge with support and blessings from their parents and families.
The festivities started on October 30th as guests were treated to a cocktail dinner by the couple dressed in sheen designer Ivory ensembles (Western). They called for a 'Black Tie' code for the event which saw actors Ram Charan and Allu Arjun in full swing.
The Haldi and Mehendi events leading to the muhurtham on November 1 are going to happen today, with a pool party planned. The couple wanted to pay tribute to their union by choosing to marry in Italy, where their love blossomed.
They zeroed in on the luxurious medieval village-turned-resort in Tuscany, Italy named Borgo San Felice. Here is everything that you want to know about the 8th-century heritage structure.

According to their official website, Borgo San Felice Resort was once a piazza, a chapel, home to a school, an olive press, and a bakery which has a great history. The resort will host guests from all over the world from a starting range of about Rs 46,314 per night for a room of the basic category and goes upto Rs 65,000 per night depending on various factors.
For their wedding, which has about 150 people in attendance at the venue, the new couple have booked the entire place for themselves, making it the most exclusive and remarkable event of their lives.
The duo will tie the knot at 2.48 pm on November 1 as per the Hindu tradition dressed in pastels, designed by Manish Malhotra, where the guests will also compliment them by coordinating with the theme. The wedding reception will begin at 8.30 pm followed by a dinner.
Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are expected to fly back home on November 3, as they sent out invites for their reception to Tollywood friends on November 5 in Hyderabad.
