Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are all set to embark on a beautiful and new journey of their lives, together. The Tollywood actors are going to tie the nuptial knot in a couple of hours with their close friends and family in attendance at a luxurious resort in Tuscany, Italy on November 1.

Ahead of the impending wedding, the lovebirds enjoyed a flamboyant traditional Haldi ceremony dressed in bright Yellow ensembles specially curated for them. They both looked radiant and so much in love, with all the wedding jitters and glow kicking in. Several leaked pictures from the event have made their way to the internet and are going viral now.

Followed by the Haldi and pool party was an exuberant Mehendi event, which is all about 'vibrant colours,' going by the theme and dress code. The guests were dressed in powerful dark tones with elaborate embroideries made by up-and-coming as well as established designers, making it an affair that is worth the mega-filmy event.

Going by the available information, Varun Tej has opted for a cream-gold Sherwani with a silk dhoti, which will be styled by Ashwin Mawle and Hassan Khan, Tollywood's celebrity stylists. To compliment him and to stand out as a gleaming bride, Lavanya Tripathi is said to have chosen a ruby red-coloured Kanchipuram silk saree, which will have a dreamy personalized veil with 'VarunLav' embroidered on it.

For the reception that follows at night, Varun will change into a Swarovski crystals-embellished tux made by Manish Malhotra again while Lavanya will dress up in striking contrast to his, in an electric blue heavily embellished gown with crystals. The reception outfit is reportedly said to have a dramatic cape that is a highlight. We can't wait to see the new couple in their most blissful state.

The cocktail welcome dinner marked the beginning of the wedding festivities of Varun & Lavanya, who have been in a relationship since 2016. It took the couple several years to convince their parents and kept their love story under wraps until the news about their engagement on June 9 hit the headlines.

Post a modern English cocktail party, the Haldi and Mehendi events took place at the Borgo San Felice resort with 150 guests including the entire mega family khandaan, actors, stylists, and the couple's best friends.

The duo will tie the knot at 2.48 pm on November 1 as per the Hindu tradition dressed in pastels, designed by Manish Malhotra, where the guests will also compliment them by coordinating with the theme. The wedding reception will begin at 8.30 pm followed by a dinner.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are expected to fly back to Hyderabad on November 3 as they sent out invites for their reception to Tollywood friends on November 5.
