Tollywood's soon-to-be couple Varun Tej Konidela and his ladylove actress Lavanya Tripathi, are involved in the impending wedding arrangements. The duo is reportedly planning to get hitched in a dreamy destination wedding in Italy.

If the rumours are anything to go by, the duo will get hitched in a traditional Telugu style on August 24. A set of event planners have been approached and assigned the job of the wedding prep. Insiders also report that a palace-like hotel has been booked for the event already.

According to the news that is going viral on social media platforms and the industry, Lavanya and Varun Tej want to keep their wedding strictly personal. They are keen on having a close-knit wedding with their families and close friends.

Why did Varun Tej & Lavanya Choose Italy?

It is a known fact that the lovebirds first met during the filming of a comedy entertainer titled 'Mister,' which was released in 2016. Srinu Vaitla's directorial was shot extensively around picturesque locations in Italy. Also, before the engagement, the duo quickly flew back to Italy to spend their special holiday. Owing to such reasons, the couple ideally felt Italy was the destination that will be apt for them to walk down the aisle for a lifetime.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi got engaged in a close-knit family affair on June 9 in Hyderabad. Their engagement was attended by Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana, megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha, Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej, Vaishnav Tej, Sreeja, Sushmita, and other friends and cousins of the extended family. The event took place at Naga Babu's house in the Manikonda area.

The families of megastar Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun, and Tripathi along with their immediate relatives and close friends are likely to attend the event. There will be a grand reception for the Tollywood film industry once they are back, reportedly.
