VD 13 Update: Vijay Deverakonda-Mrunal Thakur Film's Namakaranam Teaser Date Out; To Clash With Mahesh Babu?

Vijay Deverakonda's one of the upcoming films VD 13, under the direction of Parasuram Petla, will now have an interesting name. The 'Naamakaranam' of VD 13 will be out on this special day of October 18.

Producer Dil Raju came together with Parasuram Petla and Vijay Deverakonda for this romantic drama. VD 13 marks the second collaboration of Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram after their epic hit 'Geetha Govindam.' This time though, Mrunal Thakur is roped in to play the female lead's character.

VD 13 Naamakaranam Teaser On October 18

On October 15, the makers of VD 13 released an interesting announcement about the film's title. They mentioned that the title will be revealed through a little title teaser on October 18 at 6:30 p.m. Check out the tweet below.

Will VD 13 Clash With Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram?

The internet and the Tollywood industry are abuzz with the rumour that Vijay Deverakonda will vie with none other than superstar Mahesh Babu in the upcoming Sankranthi season. In addition, Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'Naa Saami Ranga' is also gearing up for a Sankranthi 2024 release. However, the official release dates will be announced shortly.

VD 13 has its music and background score composed by Gopi Sundar. The movie will be bankrolled by the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, helmed by Dil Raju.

Vijay Deverakonda's Work Front

On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda, who hit the screens with Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer Kushi, is simultaneously shooting for 'Jersey' fame Gowtham Tinnanuri's film. He has also signaled a period mafia-based action drama written by Ravi Kiran Kola, who made films like 'Ashokavanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam,' and 'Raaja Vaaru Rani Gaaru.'

Mrunal Thakur's Pipeline
Actress Mrunal became the most sought-after in Tollywood after the epic musical blockbuster 'Sita Ramam' in which she was paired with Dulquer Salmaan. The actress will be seen with Natural star Nani in 'Hi Nanna,' which will be released in the first week of December this year.
