Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati-starrer web series, a Netflix original titled 'Rana Naidu' premiered on March 9 in Hindi and Telugu. Upon its release, the web series, which was highly publicized, met with a negative response.
Venkatesh alone has the power of drawing women and family audiences to theatres. He was a peer of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna. But, Venkatesh enjoys a generous fanbase which includes people of all ages and tastes. When he came together for a web series with Rana Daggubati, his nephew, things got exciting. In addition to the combination of 'Babai-Abbai' coming together, OTT giant Netflix being the partner has amplified the expectations on 'Rana Naidu.'
After the series debuted on Netflix on March 10, Telugu people and audience were shocked to witness Venkatesh in such a role and story altogether. They have taken to social media pages to express their honest reviews on Rana Naidu, which emphasized that the content is cringe.
On the other hand, team Rana Naidu also issued a disclaimer about viewing the content separately -even wife and husband. Rana Said, "Usually Venkatesh's films are watched by family audience and this web series has to be watched by family members separately."

Rana Naidu Story
Rana Naidu, played by Rana Daggubati is a troubleshooter for the Bollywood celebrities who approach him for solving their murky issues. While building his empire, Rana suddenly comes to know of his father Naga Naidu's (Venkatesh Daggubati) release from the prison. Rana Naidu cannot stand his father and what happens between is to be seen.
