Virupaksha Day 1 Box Office Prediction: Sai Dharam Tej's Thriller To Open BIG, Expected To Earn THIS Amount!

Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon-starrer supernatural thriller Virupaksha, which is packed with thrills hit the screens on April 21. The movie is receiving raving reviews.

Virupaksha is written and directed by Karthik Dandu, another gem of a director from director Sukumar B's camp. The thriller is his debut, and to attempt this genre for a debut can be cited as quite a challenge. Sukumar's screenplay for Virupaksha made the film a must-watch theatrical experience after its release.

With positive reviews pouring in from all over the world in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, Sai Dharam Tej's movie is going to do great over the opening weekend. In addition, the movie made a solid pre-release business in terms of non-theatrical, OTT, audio, and satellite rights. The worldwide theatrical rights of Virupaksha are sold at around Rs 22 Crore. The movie registered the career's best and highest business for the actor of the mega family.

On the first day of its theatrical release, Virupaksha opened to a great occupancy ratio. It is expected to make a decent Rs 4.50 Crore from all over India. The movie was actually estimated to have made only around Rs 3.50 Crore but it surpassed the expectations and made Rs 1 Crore more than it. Virupaksha made a total of day 1 of Rs 4.50 Crore from all over India.

Virupaksha stars Rajeev Kanakala, Sunil, Ajay, Santhosh Kallatt, Sai Chand, Jhansi, and Brahmaji among others playing crucial characters.

BVSN Prasad produced the movie under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banners. Sukumar B is the film's co-producer under his Sukumar Writings banner. Shamdat cranked the camera, and Navin Nooli worked as the film's editor. B Ajaneesh Loknath, the man behind the music of Kantara and Vikrant Rona, scored the film's background music and tunes.
