Virupaksha Day 1 Box Office Collection: Sai Dharam Tej-Samyuktha Starrer Horror-Thriller Makes THIS Much!

Sai Dharam Tej's latest supernatural thriller Virupaksha, written and directed by Karthik Dandu released all over the world on April 21. The pan-India film is getting rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Virupaksha marks the comeback of Sai Dharam Tej after a hiatus due to an accident. The film rightly put him back on track, although of being a different genre that the actor never tried. His Uncles, megastar Chiranjeevi, and power star Pawan Kalyan have celebrated his success with heart-warming flowers, cakes, and hand-written congratulatory notes.

Virupaksha movie is a story set in the village of Rudravanam, which is tormented by an evil force that even kills its people mysteriously. A believer in science, reason, and logic- the protagonist enters the village and falls in love with a woman. Situations prompt him to take it upon himself to crack down on the mystery of Rudravanam. What happens next? is to be seen on the big screen.

On the first day of its worldwide release, Virupaksha is estimated to earn about Rs 3.5 Crore but by the end of day one, the movie made Rs 4.5 Crore. The occupancy ratio on day one was about 60% in the two Telugu-speaking states and it is looking like Virupaksha enjoys a first bright weekend.

The movie stars Sunil, Sai Chand, Ajay, Soniya Singh, and Abhinav Gomatam among others. Bhogavalli Bapineedu and BVSS Prasad produced the movie along with Sukumar B under the Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings banner. Shamdat worked as the cinematographer and Navin Nooli edited the movie. Sukumar B has written the film's screenplay. Kantara and Vikrant Rona fame B Ajaneesh Loknath composed Virupaksha's enticing background score and music.
