Virupaksha Day 6 Box Office Collection: Karthik Dandu-Sai Dharam Tej's Horror Film Continues To Reign

Sai Dharam Tej made a grand come back on the silver screen with a supernatural horror-thriller Virupaksha. Written and directed by Karthik Dandu, the movie which stars Samyuktha as the female lead was released all over the world on April 21.

Upon its theatrical release, Virupaksha, which has screenplay by visionary director Sukumar B, went on to become a unanimous hit with positive word-of-mouth. With no competition at the box office and Samantha's Shaakuntalam earning disastrous reviews, Virupaksha is ruling the box office single-handedly.

Virupaksha is special for the actor Sai Dharam Tej for many reasons. It is his first ever film to register tremendous pre-release business and earn record revenue at the box office after its release. The movie is also Sai Dharam Tej's first blockbuster hit of this range.

The story is set in the village of Rudravanam, where mysterious deaths occur after a black magic spell. People start killing themselves without reason. When the heroine gets possessed, the protagonist embarks on the mission to put an end to their miseries. But at what cost?
