Virupaksha, a scientific thriller starring Sai Dharam Tej, written and directed by debutant Karthik Dandu, is hitting the screens all over the world on April 21. The movie stars actress Samyuktha as the female lead character.

Samyuktha Menon, who debuted in Malayalam has emerged as one of the most sought-after actresses in Telugu. Her Telugu films so far have become commercial successes, and this factor made the actress get flooded by offers; while the dearth of new faces is another.

Samyuktha made her Tollywood debut with Pawan Kalyan-Rana Daggubati's Bheemla Nayak, a remake of 'Ayyappayum Koshiyum.' In Telugu, she played the role of Rana's wife. The movie was a success and then she was seen alongside Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in his career's best film to date, 'Bimbisara.' The film earned more than Rs 100 Crore at the box office.

Meanwhile, she was also cast in 'Vaathi' aka 'Sir' alongside Dhanush. Samyuktha managed to impress the Telugu viewers with her looks and performance. Followed by the streak of her hattrick success, the actress turned into an overnight star. However, the makers of her latest film, Virupaksha, have reportedly shelled out a few more bucks to pacify the disappointed actress.

Digging deep, according to the buzz, it was learned that Samyuktha, who plays a key role in the film, was disappointed when the makers first released a Ugadi poster without her on it. Although the character she played was crucial in the film, not including her on the poster upset the actress.

After she took up the issue seriously and tweeted about it, the makers released a new poster featuring her. She also was absent for the first level of Virupaksha's promotions. To put an end to the issue, as the film is closer to its release day, the makers have decided to compensate the actress by offering her extra money. After the issue was resolved, Samyuktha started promoting the movie.

The movie is releasing as a pan-India venture, which is a first time for Sai Dharam Tej. The movie is also the first film following the actor's hiatus after the road accident that rendered him severely hurt and bed-ridden in a coma for a few days.
