Virupaksha Release: Here's A Look At Sai Dharam Tej's Last Four Releases & How They Performed On First Day

Actor Sai Dharam Tej is making a comeback to films after recovering from a grave accident and subsequent break, with a different genre film titled 'Virupaksha.' The movie is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on April 20.

Virupaksha, a movie written and directed by Karthik Dandu marks the first pan-India debut of Sai Dharam Tej. Samyuktha Menon, one of the most happening Tollywood heroines is playing the female lead character in the film. Karthik Dandu comes from Pushpa fame, director Sukumar's school. The ace director is also one of the producers of this film.

The recently released trailer of Virupaksha has amplified expectations of the film. In all likeliness, Virupaksha will become the first film in the actor's career to record the highest number of openings. It is also expected to set the ticket registers ringing.

Sai Dharam Tej is playing the role of Surya, an inquisitive person who believes in Science and logic other than superstitions. He enters a prohibited village where mysterious deaths occur and embarks on a mission to crack the mystery open.

On the eve of his latest film's release, here is a look back at the first-day collections (Share) of Sai Dharam Tej's last four films from the two Telugu States.

The movie stars Ajay, Sai Chand, Brahmaji, Rajeev Kanakala, Soniya Singh, and Sunil among others playing crucial characters in the film.

Kannada Industry's most sought-after musician B Ajaneesh Loknath, who worked on films like Kantara, Vikrant Rona, etc, has composed the film's music and score. Director Sukumar Bandreddi is also one of the co-producers of the movie; has also written the screenplay of Virupaksha. Bhogavalli Bapineedu and BVSS Prasad produced the movie under the Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra banner.

Karthik Dandu directed the movie. Shyam Dutt and Naveen Nooli have worked as the film's Cinematographer and Editor, respectively.
