Actor-turned-politician Sivaji aka Sontineni Sivaji made his television and reality show debut with the new season of Bigg Boss Telugu 7. The much-awaited season finally began on September 3.

Sontineni Sivaji aka Sivaji is a popular actor in the Telugu film industry. The 46-year-old began his acting career by playing side kick roles and villainous characters. He worked in several departments of filmmaking including camera, dubbing, editing, etc. He has done more than 70 films so far and gave several blockbuster successful films as hero.

Sivaji appeared in cult films like Kushi, Indra, Missamma, etc. Missamma is his first success as a male lead role in which he acted opposite Bhumika Chawla, and Laya.

Sontineni Sivaji's Biography

Sivaji is born and brought up in Narsaraopet of Guntur district. He first entered the entertainment industry as an editor in the popular television channel, Gemini. He then appeared in a small character in a television serial.

The actor also worked as a dubbing artist and won the Andhra Pradesh government's Nandi award for the Best Male Dubbing artist for actor Nithiin in Dil.

Sivaji's Political Stint

The actor became active during the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and caught attention when he launched fast unto death on granting a special status of the state, a promise made by the government.
