Ravi Teja To Replace Fahadh Faasil In Aavesham? Mass Raja Ravi Teja is the Akshay Kumar of Tollywood as he always shoots for a film if not taking part in the promotions of one of his releases. The actor is known for his swiftness in taking his films on the sets. After 'Dhamaka,' his first Rs 100 Crore film, the actor is awaiting a big success.
As per the latest buzz, the Malayalam superhit film 'Aavesham' starring Fahadh Faasil is going to be remade in Telugu with Ravi Teja replacing him. At first, it was believed that Nandamuri Balakrishna will be cast to play the role of 'Ranga' but now it is learnt that Ravi Teja is not only going to produce the movie but also is likely to play the lead. An official confirmation of the same is awaited, anyway.
The movie Aavesham, which was released amid decent expectations in Malayalam on April 11 was written and directed by Jithu Madhavan. Bankrolled on a budget of Rs 30 Crore by Anwar Rasheed Entertainments in association with Fahadh Faasil and Friends banner earned a whopping Rs 154.60 Crore worldwide by the end of its successful theatrical run.
Aavesham Synopsis
Aavesham is the story of three young engineering students who arrive in the city and get bullied. To get back at them, the trio seek help from a rowdy named Ranga, who changes their life forever. The movie has the name Fahadh Faasil written all over it and only his characterization and performance made the film what it is. He earned widespread acclaim for playing the role of gangster Ranga to the T.
Ravi Teja's Work Front
The actor who also turned producer was last seen in a flop movie titled 'Mr Bachchan,' which is an official remake of the Bollywood film 'RAID.' His next is titled 'Mass Jathara' and 'Kohinoor.' In addition, the remake of Aavesham is also on the cards.
