Allu Arjun Bail Updates: On Friday (December 13), Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun's arrest news took everyone by shock. The actor found himself under the spotlight due to an unfortunate incident that took place during Pushpa 2 screening at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad last week. Earlier today, the National Award-winning actor was taken into police custody for questioning in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case where a woman lost her life. Later, the Hyderabad Police commissioner confirmed actor's arrest in connection with the tragic incident.

Allu Arjun Bail Updates: Actor Granted Interim Bail Hours After Arrest

Now, hours after the arrest, Allu Arjun has been granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. According to the latest News18 report, the actor got interim bail for four week. According to Live Law, Justice Juvvadi Sridevi of the Telangana High Court stated,

"I'm inclined to give interim bail, for a limited period, following the Arnab Goswami case. Bonds to be given to the Jail superintendent since arrest is made. (sic)"

During the hearing, the bench also stressed on the fact that Allu Arjun too has a right to life and liberty. As per the same report, the bench said, "It's actually bothering me. Just because he is an actor, can he be held like this? There are no ingredients...On this earth, he has the right to life and liberty. It can't be taken away by virtue of being an actor. (sic)".

Allu Arjun Reaches Chanchalguda Jail

Previously, the actor was sent to a 14-day judicial custody following his arrest in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The victim Revathi's husband, who had filed the case, also claimed that he's ready to withdraw the case. Following the formal arrest, Allu Arjun was brought to the Chanchalguda Jail.

Reportedly, following the interim bail, the actor is expected to walk out of the jail by 7:30 pm-8 pm today.
