Allu Arjun Is Bigger Superstar Than Chiranjeevi & Mega Heroes, Says KRK Ahead Of Pushpa 2 Release; Fans React
Bollywood Filmmaker & Critic KRK Comments On Mega Family & Allu Family Rift
Allu Arjun's hyped sequel Pushpa 2 movie's theatrical trailer was released to sky-high expectations and the event was a colossal success. With the trailer setting new benchmarks for Indian cinema, congratulations are in order for the entire team of Pushpa 2, headlined by Allu Arjun. The actor, who won the National Award for 'Best Actor' for portraying Pushpa Raj in Sukumar's Pushpa The Rise, soared to international heights in fandom and stardom.
The ocean-like fans who thronged the venue in Patna are a testimony to the craze the Icon star enjoys in the northern region. The silent treatment from the mega family about the Pushpa 2 trailer release and no mention of Allu Arjun publicly, gave rise to a nationwide discussion about their family issues.
While the exact reason for the cold vibes between the mega heroes and Allu Arjun is not entirely known, except for the fact that Allu Arjun supported his friend, a candidate who contested against Pawan Kalyan's alliance in Andhra Pradesh's elections, there is much more to what it known to fans. Since a long time, the distance between the mega family and Allu Arjun has become evident. However, the families and cousins meet often for family events and attend weddings together. Every Christmas, they all meet at Allu Arjun or Ram Charan's place. Things might be different this year.
KRK took to his social media handle on the X platform and shared, "Actors @KChiruTweets
@AlwayzRamCharan
@PawanKalyan
are from a big family of Telugu film industry. They all are trying their best to put down
@alluarjun
. But they must understand that #AlluArjun alone is a bigger superstar than all of them together. Film #Pushpa2 is going to get a historical opening of ₹50cr+ in Hindi, which will give a heart attack to Chiranjeevi family., (sic)." Check out the tweet below.
This particular tweet did not sit well with the mega fans who are now divided between the Allu family and the mega family. The online fan wars among Telugu actors reached an all-time low with elements like politics, caste, and egos taking centre stage.
Pushpa 2 is coming to the theatres on December 5 worldwide in six languages. At first, Ram Charan's Game Changer release date was announced as December 21 but owing to the Pushpa 2 movie's release, Chiranjeevi had to sacrifice his Sankranti date for Game Changer.
Ram Charan, who is currently shooting for his next with Buchi Babu Sana, a sports-based drama, also hit headlines for visiting a Muslim Dargha while he is observing Sabarimala Ayyappa Swamy Deeksha. In addition, his upcoming film with Shankar, Game Changer, is gearing up for a theatrical release for Sankranthi 2025 on January 10. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi's socio-fantasy drama titled 'Vishwambhara' will hit the screens early summer of 2025.
