Pawan Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister and founder of the Janasena party, voiced his concerns over the tragic incident, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. He described the death and the resulting hospitalization of the young boy as deeply distressing. Kalyan lamented that what was supposed to be an enjoyable family outing turned into a nightmare, highlighting the family's anticipation of sharing their movie experience, only to be met with tragedy.

In his remarks, Kalyan suggested that immediate action from the 'Pushpa 2' film team could have mitigated the situation. He expressed that a visit to the bereaved family from the producers, director, or any team member, offering condolences right after the incident, might have prevented the escalation of the issue. "What they (movie makers) could have done is gone to the victim's home the very next day. The producers, director, or anyone from the team should have expressed their condolences and shown they are with the family in their grief. Had they done this, it wouldn't have escalated like this," Kalyan stated, indicating the significance of such a gesture in times of grief.

Critics have argued that the Telangana government's handling of the aftermath could have been more delicate. However, Kalyan pointed out that the law remains impartial and does not offer special treatment to anyone, himself included.
