Amaran Telugu Box Office Collection Day 7: Amaran is the latest biographical war action drama based on the life of late Major Mukund Varadarajan, portrayed by Sivakarthikeyan. The movie based on 'India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military' written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, was written and directed for the celluloid by Rajkumar Periasamy. Upon its theatrical release for Diwali on October 21, the Sai Pallavi-starrer movie earned a widespread positive response and is raking the moolah at the box office worldwide.

Kamal Haasan co-produced the movie under his Raaj Kamal Films International banner along with Sony Pictures India on a massive budget of Rs 200 Crore. Amaran movie achieved a record-making break-even in just two days after its multiple language release.
