Baahubali 3 Is On Cards: SS Rajamouli became a popular filmmaker worldwide in tow with Prabhas after his brainchild Baahubali: The Beginning hit the screens in 2015. The actor-director duo were a sensation and ever since, they enjoyed overseas fandom with their respective films that followed.

Currently, SS Rajamouli and his father Vijayendra Prasad are working on a highly prestigious collaboration with superstar Mahesh Babu on a globe-trotting adventure drama referred to as 'SSMB29.' Meanwhile, the buzz around a sequel to Baahubali: The Conclusion made headlines.

According to a report on 123 Telugu, the makers of Suriya's Kanguva have spoken to the producers of Baahubali recently. The formers are in talks to promote Kanguva and the topic of Prabhas' Baahubali 3 has been discussed. Producer Gnanavel Raja reportedly said that Baahubali 3 is in the pipeline. "I spoke to Baahubali makers last week, and they are planning the third part. Even Kalki 2 will release after they make 2 movies in between. The same with Salaar 2," he added. Earlier, Vijayendra Prasad also opened up about the possibility of Baahubali 3.

Baahubali: The Beginning opened to mixed reviews on its release day in 2015 but the movie went on to become one of the highest-grossers in India, making Prabhas an international figure. The movie's sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion is an even bigger hit and is one of the highest-earning Indian films abroad.

Made on a budget of Rs 180 Crore, Baahubali 1 made a massive Rs 650 Crore by the end of its theatrical run. Similarly, Baahubali 2, which was released two years after the first part was made on a budget of Rs 250 Crore made a whopping Rs 1747 Crore worldwide.
