Baak OTT Release Date & Time Locked: Baak is the Telugu version of the latest horror-comedy film Aranamanai 4, co-written and directed by Sundar C. The movie stars Tamannaah and Rashii Khanna in the female lead roles while Sundar C enacted the protagonist's role. Amid high expectations and a decent pre-release buzz, the movie hit the screens worldwide on May 3 to a thumping response.

After Baak was released, the movie earned decent reviews from the critics and the film buffs billed it as a film that is better than the franchise's previous installments. Baak went on to impress the audiences as Aranmanai 4 became the first-ever biggest Rs 100 Crore film of Kollywood in 2024.

The unprecedented success of Aranmanai 4 led the filmmakers to dub the movie in Hindi and release it across the Hindi region on May 31. Meanwhile, the movie is now ready for the big OTT debut.

Baak Synopsis
Shiva Shankar (Sundar) is a lawyer and he learns that his sister Shivani (Tamannaah) has committed suicide and her husband is also dead inside a forest under mysterious circumstances. Shivani has two children whom she leaves behind and then turns into a spirit to safeguard them. What happened to Shivani and her husband? Who is Baak? How Shiva Shankar solves the mystery forms the crux of the film.

Baak OTT Release Date & Time On Disney Plus Hotstar

The movie's digital streaming rights are secured by none other than the Disney Plus Hotstar. The official announcement was made by the OTT platform recently about the streaming of Aranmanai 4 in the four southern languages including Kannada. Baak will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on June 21.

This comedy-horror film stars Sundar C, Tamannaah, Raashii Khanna, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Srala, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vennela Kishore, Srinivasa Reddy, K.S. Ravikumar, Jayaparakash, Delhi Ganesh, Rajendran, Singampuli, Deva Nandha, Vichu Vishwanath, and Yatin Karyekar. Yesteryear actresses Kushbhu Sundar and Simran will be seen in cameos.

The movie was produced jointly by Khushbu Sundar and A.C.S Arun Kumar under the Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media Private Limited banners. Hiphop Tamizha composed the film's entire background score and music. E Krishnasamy cranked the camera and Fenny Oliver worked as the editor. While Sundar C wrote the story, he and Venkatt Ragavan worked on the film's screenplay.
