Bengaluru Rave Party Case: Actress Hema Tests Positive: In the latest development that surfaced on May 23, character artist Hema, who is quite popular across the two Telugu-speaking states, tested positive for consumption of drugs.
Police have taken her into custody after the raids and Hema's blood sample was collected for determining her involvement in consuming drugs. Along with Hema, 100 other people who reportedly participated in the rave party were tested for the same. Unfortunately for Hema, the test results turned out positive.According to the Eenadu website and other reports on the news sites, Hema was found guilty of consuming substances as per the blood reports.
The Bengaluru Electronic City police took about 103 members into custody and sent their blood samples for testing. The results came back and it was found that about 89 members tested positive.
In the rave party that happened from Sunday late night to Monday wee hours last week, many models, politicians, actors and actresses took part. Police have busted the party and Hema, who is allegedly part of the illegal gathering.
Hema, choreographer Jaani Master, and actor Srikanth were said to have been part of this rave party from the Tollywood industry and when the news broke out, Srikanth immediately put out a video message saying that he was home and had nothing to do with the allegations. Jaani master also cleared air,
Similarly, Hema also put out a video of her claiming innocence. She said that she was in Hyderabad and didn't go anywhere. In the video, Hema mentioned, "I am at my farmhouse in Hyderabad and please do not believe the news that is spreading on me. I do not know who is there and I don't know anything about the party."
In a shocking twist, police have released pictures of Hema at the so-called party and was spotted in the same dress in which she released a video denying the news. The CCTV footage also showed Hema covering her face while entering and exiting the farmhouse and police are upset about Hema's 'make-believe stunt' video claiming innocence and are likely to book her under the offense. With this, there is clarity on Hema's presence at the party.
In addition, Hema drew so much flak and negativity among the Telugu audiences and the industry insiders for posting a fake video as well as publishing another Biryani-making video in the midst of this interrogation.
