Actress Hema Arrested In Bengaluru Drug Case: In the latest development around the infamous Tollywood celebrity Hema's involvement in the Bengaluru rave party case, the popular character artist has been arrested. The Electronic City (EC) police, who are now convinced that Hema indeed consumed drugs and took part in the rave party at a farm house in the city recently, arrested her upon initial information.

For the unversed, there was a gathering that was hosted at the Bengaluru Electronic City GR Farm House in the name of 'Sunset to Sunrise Victory,' which is said to be a rave party. About 150 members took part in the event which comprised of influential people, celebrities, actors, actresses, politicians and rich youngsters. The party began at the evening on Sunday and continued non-stop till Monday morning.

Tollywood actress Hema, actor Srikanth were said to have been part of this rave party and when the news broke out, Srikanth immediately put out a video message saying that he was home and has nothing to do with the allegations.

Similarly, Hema also put out a video of her claiming innocence. She said that she was in Hyderabad and didn't go anywhere. In the video, Hema mentioned, "I am at my farm house in Hyderabad and please do not believe the news that is spreading on me. I do not know who is there and I don't know anything about the party."

In a shocking twist, police have released pictures of Hema at the so called party and was spotted in the same dress in which she released a video denying the news. The CCTV footage also showed Hema covering her face while entering and exiting the farm house and police are upset about Hema's 'make-believe stunt' video claiming innocence and are likely to book her under the offence. With this, there is a clarity on Hema's presence at the party.

Hema was taken into custody by Bengaluru Electronic City police and the investigation proved that there is substance in her blood stream, which now resulted in her arrest. According to a latest report on India Today, Hema, who was accused of taking part in a rave party in Bengaluru was arrested by the respective cops after preliminary investigation. During the raid, the police reportedly confiscated about 14.40 grams of MDMA pills, six grams of cannabis, five grams of cocaine, 1.16 grams of MDMA crystals, six grams of hydro ganja, five mobile phones, two vehicles, Rs 500 denomination note coated with cocaine, a Volkswagen car and a Land Rover, DJ and party equipment worth Rs 1.5 Crore.
