Bharateeyudu 2 Advance Bookings Day 1: Shankar Shanmugam is an image in south India. His films scream grandeur and his plots are always thought-provoking. The maverick filmmaker makes remarkable films and that is the reason his films stand the test of time in several aspects. Many of his films have become bigger hits in Telugu than the original production in Tamil.

The sequel to Bharateeyudu (1996), Bharateeyudu 2 is now ready to hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi worldwide on July 12. This is Shankar's Telugu release after six years and the director is also making his debut with Ram Charan-Kiara Advani starrer 'Game Changer.' Fans of the director and Kamal Haasan are excited for Bharateeyudu 2. The openings for the movie began towards the end of July 9, almost three days before the film's grand release.

Bharateeyudu 2 Advance Bookings Telugu

The movie which is going to be available in two formats-Standard and IMAX, started filling its seats for the release day on July 12. The ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh are standard and there was no hike in them as opposed to in Telangana. Some of the fans and film buffs opined that they are disappointed about the hike in prices for Bharateeyudu 2 tickets and that they are higher than in Tamil Nadu.

As per the available information on the Sacnilk website, the advance bookings for Indian 2 aka Bharateeyudu 2 are picking up. For the first day, the advance bookings (by the time this report was filed) earned 17195875.6 Crore from the sale of 103161 tickets for 1926 shows. The all-India bookings for the release day already earned a figure of Rs 6.77 Crore for 8960 shows all over India in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi in 2D, 4DX, and IMAX formats.

Bharateeyudu 2 Cast
This vigilante action film sequel stars Kamal Haasan as Veerasekaran Senapathy aka Indian. In addition, the movie stars S.J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Nedumudi Venu as Krishnaswamy IPS, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Deepa Shankar, Anant Mahadevan, George Maryan, Vinod Sagar, Akhilendra Mishra, and Benedict Garrett among others in key roles for various versions. Late Vivek, G Marimuthu, and Manobala will be part of the film as the makers wanted to leave their portions intact.

Bharateeyudu 2 Crew
Written and directed by S Shankar, the sequel titled Indian 2 is being helmed by Subaskaran Allirajah and Udhayanidhi Stalin under their Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners on an approximate budget of Rs 250 Crore. Ravi Varma is cranking the camera and A. Sreekar Prasad is the film's editor. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film's entire background score and music.
