Bharateeyudu 2 Opening Day Box Office Prediction Day 1: The sequel to Bharateeyudu (1996) film, Bharateeyudu 2 starring Kamal Haasan as the epic 'Senapathy' is now ready to hit the screens worldwide on July 12. Written and directed by the maverick filmmaker Shankar, the movie which was bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah of the Lyca Productions banner stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and a set of many notable actors.

Bharateeyudu 2, the Telugu version of Indian 2 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi worldwide on July 12. This is Shankar's Telugu release after six years. Fans of the director and Kamal Haasan are excited for Bharateeyudu 2. There is a hike in the ticket prices for Bharateeyudu 2 in Telangana as the government passed a special GO sanctioning the same for about a week. In Andhra Pradesh however, there is no extra hike on the tickets.

The movie's advance ticket sales are quite encouraging even though the bookings opened a bit late. According to the updates available through social media movie pages, the bookings are positive and picking up on July 11. In Nizam alone, the movie made more than Rs 2 Crore in the region and if put together with other regions, the bookings are decent in the two Telugu states. If Shankar's film earns a positive talk after the release, the movie will pick up immediately in the opening weekend.

This vigilante action film sequel stars Kamal Haasan as Veerasekaran Senapathy aka Indian. In addition, the movie stars S.J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Nedumudi Venu as Krishnaswamy IPS, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Deepa Shankar, Anant Mahadevan, George Maryan, Vinod Sagar, Akhilendra Mishra, and Benedict Garrett among others in key roles for various versions. Late Vivek, G Marimuthu, and Manobala will be part of the film as the makers wanted to leave their portions intact.

Written and directed by S Shankar, the sequel titled Indian 2 is being helmed by Subaskaran Allirajah and Udhayanidhi Stalin under their Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners on an approximate budget of Rs 250 Crore. Ravi Varma is cranking the camera and A. Sreekar Prasad is the film's editor. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film's entire background score and music.
