Fans Disappointed As Tickets For Bharateeyudu 2 Are Higher Than In TN: The sequel to one of the most successful Indian films, Indian (1996) starring Kamal Haasan, written and directed by Shankar, Indian 2 aka Bharateeyudu 2 is finally hitting the screens after a long wait. The movie slated for a theatrical release on July 12 worldwide is available in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The sequel stars several notable south-Indian actors including Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and others.

Senapathy, shown alive during the climax of the first part, is now in Hong Kong. He decides to return to India after learning that the country is still being overpowered by corruption and injustice.

Bharateeyudu 2 Ticket Prices More Than Indian 2 in Tamil Nadu

The governments of the two Telugu-speaking states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have issued a GO granting hike in the ticket prices for Bharateeyudu 2 in multiplexes as well as single screen theatres. The hike came in as a big shock and surprise for the fans who are baffled at the prices.

Fans of Shankar, Kamal Haasan, and the movie Indian 2 aka Bharateeyudu are severely upset about the hike in ticket prices. The two Telugu states have increased the ticket ranging from Rs 75 to Rs 125. Now, the price for one ticket in AP & TS is greater than one ticket in Tamil Nadu, for a Tamil dubbing film.

This vigilante action film sequel stars Kamal Haasan as Veerasekaran Senapathy aka Indian. In addition, the movie stars S.J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Nedumudi Venu as Krishnaswamy IPS, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Deepa Shankar, Anant Mahadevan, George Maryan, Vinod Sagar, Akhilendra Mishra, and Benedict Garrett among others in key roles for various versions. Late Vivek, G Marimuthu, and Manobala will be part of the film as the makers wanted to leave their portions intact.

Written and directed by S Shankar, the sequel titled Indian 2 is being helmed by Subaskaran Allirajah and Udhayanidhi Stalin under their Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners on an approximate budget of Rs 250 Crore. Ravi Varma is cranking the camera and A. Sreekar Prasad is the film's editor. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film's entire background score and music.
