Bharateeyudu 2 Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Theatrical Rights: Kamal Haasan's upcoming sequel written and directed by Shankar titled Indian 2, which is going to be released in Telugu as Bharateeyudu 2 is now gaining some attention following the pre-release event that was held in Hyderabad on July 7. The movie stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, and a plethora of other talented actors.

Bharateeyudu 2 Synopsis
Senapathy, shown alive during the climax of the first part, is now in Hong Kong. He decides to return to India after learning that the country is still being overpowered by corruption and injustice.

Bharateeyudu 2 Telugu States Theatrical Rights Sold
Reportedly, the two Telugu-speaking states where Kamal Haasan enjoys an unwavering fanbase made a decent pre-release business by selling its theatrical distribution rights. In a report on 123Telugu, it was revealed that the rights were sold for a nice Rs 24 Crore. But, here comes the real problem. With no big hype around the release which is just four days away, in addition to the fact that the advance bookings haven't been opened so far, the openings for Bharateeyudu 2 need to be bigger and better to attain break-even and become a clean hit.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan's other film, Kalki 2898 AD, in which he was seen as Supreme Yaskin, is playing in the theatres to a decent occupancy ratio. Bharateeyudu 2 needs to score a positive response and hit talk.

Bharateeyudu 2 Cast
This vigilante action film sequel stars Kamal Haasan as Veerasekaran Senapathy aka Indian. In addition, the movie stars S.J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Nedumudi Venu as Krishnaswamy IPS, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Zakir Hussain, Piyush Mishra, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Deepa Shankar, Anant Mahadevan, George Maryan, Vinod Sagar, Akhilendra Mishra, and Benedict Garrett among others in key roles for various versions. Late Vivek, G Marimuthu, and Manobala will be part of the film as the makers wanted to leave their portions intact.

Written and directed by S Shankar, the sequel titled Indian 2 is being helmed by Subaskaran Allirajah and Udhayanidhi Stalin under their Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners on an approximate budget of Rs 250 Crore. Ravi Varma is cranking the camera and A. Sreekar Prasad is the film's editor. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film's entire background score and music.
