Bigg Boss Telugu 8 Day 5 Updates: The latest season of the Bigg Boss Telugu reality show, the most-followed Telugu TV show, kickstarted its season 8 with 14 contestants on September 1. Nagarjuna Akkineni returned as the season's host for the new season and guaranteed 'Limitless entertainment.'
The first week's nominations have been held inside the house and six contestants were picked for the elimination event that is going to take place in the upcoming weekend episodes. The voting lines have also begun.
Nikhil, Nainika, and Yashmi Gowda have become the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 house's Chiefs. They picked their clans by convincing the housemates to support them in tonight's episode, going by the promo.

Prerana pulled a face and was disappointed with Aditya Om after finding out that he used her towel without her knowledge. Aditya Om apologized to her but it became an issue. Bigg Boss then sent a new towel for Prerana's use.

Nikhil Reveals Why He Chose Manikanta & Not Vishnupriya
In another scene where Nikhil, Prithviraj, Vishnupriya, Abhay, and Prithviraj are seen talking, Vishnupriya questions Nikhil why he didn't choose her while he chose Manikanta. Nikhil replied, "I know nobody is going to pick Naga Manikanta so I picked up out of concern."

Now Contestants Join Their Favourite Clans
Prerana Chose Yashmi's clan. Aditya Om and Seetha join Nainika. Nikhil opted for Manikanta while Vishnupriya was also chosen by Nainika. Nikhil invited Abhay along with Yashmi Gowda. He opted to join Yashmi's clan. Prithviraj was invited by Nikhil and Yashmi to join his clan and Prithviraj also joined Yashmi. Then Sonia was left with no other option as Yashmi and Nainika's clans were full. She joined Nikhil.

Bigg Boss Asked Chiefs To Earn Clan Support
Bigg Boss announced that 'Chiefs' without clans are nothing and therefore, at 3.30 PM inside the house, the three housemates- Bebakka, Shekar Basha, and Nabeel Afridi are asked to choose their clan leader. They are asked to wear the respective colour bands on their two wrists. Shekar chose Yashmi, Bebakka chose Nikhil, and Nabeel chose Nainika. Other housemates will also get an opportunity to become the clan.

In the washroom, Prithvi Raj was caught by others using facewash as toothpaste. All the housemates burst into laughter after they came to know about it. Prerana made fun of him as he has been using that since the last few dates.
