Mehboob Gets Eliminated In Week 8 of Bigg Boss Telugu 8: In the Star Maa channel's Bigg Boss Telugu 8 show's special Diwali special episode, wild card contestant Mehboob was eliminated from the show. This is his second elimination after season 4. Ironically, Mehboob was eliminated on the Diwali special weekend in both the seasons he was part of.

Mehboob Dilse, who entered the house as a wild card contestant immediately became the second mega chief of the house. He took charge from Nabeel, the first mega chief of the season by showing immense strength in the challenges. Unfortunately, Mehboob, who is a professional dancer, faced stern criticism for talking about a community which is the biggest reason for his elimination. He indulged in a private and informal talk with Nabeel Afridi, which stirred up a major controversy but was sidelined by the makers due to the sensitiveness of the issue. The makers also wanted to not make a deal of the issue publicly and silently eliminated Mehboob from the show instead of Nayani Pavani. Mehboob scored more votes than Nayani, as a matter of fact.

Apart from this, Mehboob was earlier part of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4. He got a rare opportunity to re-enter the reality show in another season. He was lucky but he ruined his entire game and image in a split second by talking about an issue that not only hurt the viewers of the show but also everyone involved in the show. Nabeel and Mehboob talking about community support inside the house didn't go down well with the audiences and the housemates are not aware of it.

Nikhil is in second place with 31,051 votes followed by Vishnu Priya with as many as 18,189 votes. Nayani Pavani and Mehaboob are in the bottom two positions in a danger zone.
