Tejaswini Gowda Rejects Bigg Boss Telugu 8; Here's Why! Nagarjuna Akkineni is back on the Television with the most-loved and hyped reality show 'Bigg Boss Telugu' with its new season. The new season 8 of the Telugu TV reality show is going to go on air on September 1 on the Star Maa channel. The new season is said to have about 14 contestants who will be locked inside the jungle-themed Bigg Boss Telugu 8 house for 100 days.

The shooting of the launch episode was completed and the leaks suggest many updates about the new season. Due to some reasons, the makers of the show have roped in many budding artists who are working with the Star Maa television in their serials as a package. Most of the contestants of this season are new faces and are lesser-known.

When the makers approached Tejaswini Gowda, Bigg Boss Telugu 7 finalist Amardeep Chowdary's wife, the serial actress reportedly turned down the offer due to remuneration issues.

For this brand new season too, the housemates are going to be a mix of small-screen celebrities, actors, actresses, and social media influencers. They are all going to take part in the reality show together under a roof as groups and individuals. A series of games, contests, and challenges are thrown at them during weekdays and the weekends are reserved for the host's review.

The names of the confirmed contestants for the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 are: Aditya Om, Shekhar Basha, Yashmi Gowda, Vishnu Priya, Abhai Naveen, Prerana, Parameshwar Hivrale, Nainika, Sonia Akula, Nikhil, Bezawada Bebakka, Seetha, and Naga Manikanta.

The show's makers have also put a couple of other finalised contestants as backup. Jabardasth Rocking Rakesh, model-cum-doctor Ravi Teja, news reader Kalyani, and Prithvi Raj. In addition, the ex-contestant of Bigg Boss Buzz, Anchor Shiva, was also finalized for season 8 as a wild card contestant.

Names of Shanoor Sana, Indraaniel Varma, Anjali Pavan, Nandu Ramisetty, Khayyum Ali, and Vismaya Sri have done the rounds as the rumoured contestants. While Nandu Ramisetty was not approachd at all, the others have been offered a chance and they declined it citing various reasons. Indraaniel Varma, Anjali Pavan, and Vismaya Sri have backed out.
