By the end of 14 weeks and 100 days of Telugu TV's biggest reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 8, Gautham Krishna, Nikhil Maliyakkal, Nabeel Afridi, Prerana Kambam, and Mukku Avinash are the top five finalists. Avinash was evicted from the fifth position while Prerana was evicted from the finale race as the top fourth finalist.

Prerana was working with the Star Maa channel for several television serials. She was roped in for the reality show for a remuneration of Rs 2 Lakh per week, reportedly. For her 14 weeks inside the house, Prerana made a solid Rs 28 Lakh as salary in addition to becoming the top fourth contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu 8.
