In addition to the set work at Annapurna Studios, the program heads of Bigg Boss Telugu 8 are finalizing the games, contests, and events for the housemates. The promo for the season was shot and is going to be out in the last week of August.

Nagarjuna is returning to the reality show as its host for the fifth consecutive time and the veteran actor is said to have signed the agreement for a hiked remuneration of Rs 30 Crore.

The rumoured contestants who are in consideration are Newsreader Kalyani, Rekha Bhoj, farmer Nethra, Singer Saketh, Deepika Ranganath, Srikar, Syed Abhu, comedian Kirrak RP, Gayathri Gupta, Venu Swamy, Sameera Sherief, and Urmila Chauhan. The selection of contestants for the season will be completed by the second week of August, reportedly.
