Bigg Boss Telugu 8 Grand Launch Highlights: The countdown began for the grand launch of the hyped Telugu TV reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 8. The makers of the show have seamlessly organized the new season's launch episode, which was shot on August 1 with as many as 14 contestants.

The launch episode promo that was released a couple of hours ago promises an exciting and vibrant season going by the rich visuals of the house and the ever charming Nagarjuna returning as the host. The 14 contestants were sent inside the house in seven pairs as the host insisted there will not be a single entry in this season.

On the launch day, Nani and Priyanka Mohan appeared as the guests to promote their latest movie 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,' which is currently running in the theatres to a decent response from fans and critics.

In addition, the promo also revealed the voices of contestants like Bezawada Bebakka, Seetha, Shekhar Basha, and Nikhil, among others, who are technically inside the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 house already.

On the other hand, Rana Daggubati came up on the screen with Nivetha Thomas and the director of their upcoming film '35 Chinna Katha Kadhu,' which is gearing up for a theatrical release. The actor also unveiled the theatrical trailer of this film.

After the housemates entered the house, according to the promo, filmmaker Anil Ravipudi entered the house and announced that the twists in the season began on day 1. He mentioned that he would take back a contestant outside the house to swap someone else through a lucky dip.

The Bigg Boss Telugu 8 season will begin at the newly erected set at Annapurna Studios where the selected housemates will be housed for a maximum of 100 days without connection from the world outside.

For this brand new season too, the housemates are going to be a mix of small-screen celebrities, actors, actresses, and social media influencers. They are all going to take part in the reality show together under a roof as groups and individuals. A series of games, contests, and challenges are thrown at them during weekdays and the weekends are reserved for the host's review.

The names of the confirmed contestants for the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 are: Aditya Om, Shekhar Basha, Yashmi Gowda, Vishnu Priya, Abhai Naveen, Prerana, Nainika, Sonia Akula, Nikhil, Bezawada Bebakka, Seetha, and Naga Manikanta among others.
