Naga Manikanta's behaviour inside the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 house has turned weird. In the first two or three days, he tried to earn the sympathy of the viewers and the housemates by sharing his sad personal life story. In the latest episodes of Bigg Boss Telugu 8, Naga Manikanta was seen coercing Soniya for a hug which she obliged and held Yashmi from behind without her consent, despite her rebuffing him. Yashmi later broke down and shed tears saying, "Bigg Boss, I can't take anymore. He is the most fake person I have ever come across." Later Yashmi was also seen telling others that she would continue to nominate him throughout the season.

On the other hand, Soniya, who followed him back to the lobby area said that she has to play the game now and would lose strength if she hugs him. However, they ended up hugging each other. Manikanta asking Soniya for hugs, and doing this inside the house didn't come in good taste for the viewers.

Manikanta's Background & Personal Life

He lost his father when he was too young and his mother re-married. He has a half-sister and reportedly faced insults from his stepfather. After growing up, Manikanta's mother was diagnosed with Cancer and she succumbed. On the day of her memorial, he left the house to make his future.

Manikanta then tried his luck in the Telugu TV industry and also appeared for a job which he secured. After getting into the job, he married his collegemate Priya. Priya is a techie who works and lives in the US. She took Manikanta along with her and they gave birth to a baby girl. All things went haywire when Manikanta failed to look for a job in the USA, prompting Priya to send him back.

After entering the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 house, by selling his personal life story, Manikanta said that he needs his wife and daughter and winning this show can make it possible. Meanwhile, he tried to picture his wife as a bad woman but again in the second week, he mentioned that Priya was a nice girl and she lent him financial support for taking part in the show.
