Amrutha Pranay In Bigg Boss Telugu 8? The countdown for the most popular Telugu TV reality show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 has begun. New names of Telugu celebrities from TV serials, movies, comedians, and social media are popping up as rumoured contestants for the upcoming season.

The latest name that is doing the rounds is Amrutha Pranay, an honour killing victim's wife, who is now a social media personality. She runs a YouTube channel successfully. Her son Nihan is a special child and her content includes various topics that she shares frequently with her followers.

Following the murder of her husband, Amrutha chose to stay at his house with his family and bring up her child along with them. She does lots of promotions and videos for many paid campaigns for beauty, textiles, etc.

Amrutha Pranay As A Contestant In Bigg Boss Telugu 8?

Amrutha Pranay is reportedly approached by the makers of the Bigg Boss Telugu show for the season 8 as a contestant. She is said to have cleared the two rounds of interviews and is likely to be one of the housemates. There is no official confirmation of the same but her followers are cheering for her ever since the news about her rumoured participation came out.

As the news started to spread all over, Amrutha Pranay herself clarified that she is not going to be part of the show as she never got an opportunity from the show producers at all. She reportedly said that everybody are asking her about Bigg Boss Telugu 8 but she was not offered one.

In 2018, Amrutha Varshini, married Pranay Perumalla of lower caste against her family's will. Popular as the 'Miryalaguda honour killing' event, the incident sparked so much outrage and concern in society at that time.

Amrutha's father Maruthi Rao, (who later committed suicide) conceived the murder of Pranay, his daughter's husband while she was five months pregnant. He got him killed in the broad daylight on the roads in front of a hospital, much to the shock of Amrutha and the onlookers.

Maruthi Rao contacted a killer and paid him Rs 10 Lakh to commit the murder. Maruthi Rao's brother is also involved in the deal. Thousands of people from Miryalaguda attended the funeral of Pranay Perumalla after the case shook the two Telugu states.
