After an entertaining journey of 105 days, superstar Nagarjuna-hosted Bigg Boss Telugu is wrapping up its 8th season tonight (Sunday, December 15). The controversial yet popular show was premiered on 1st September on Star Maa with 22 contestants and only 5 among them made it to the finalists list.

The top 5 contestants who won hearts and entertained the audience with their stints and become the finalists are - Nabeel, Prerana, Nikhil Maliyakkal, Avinash and Gautham. Ram Charan, who will next be seen in 'Game Changer', alongside actor-filmmaker Upendra and Pragya Jaiswal from Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Daaku Maharaj' will be gracing the finale as special guests.

As per the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 voting results, Gautham Krishan was at the top of the finalists list with the highest numbers of votes. However, it was Gautham who lifted the BB Telugu 8 winner's trophy tonight, lifting the coveted trophy and taking home the prize money of whopping Rs 55 lakhs.

Even before the official announcement, an insider source already confirmed Nikhil Maliyakkal had become the winner, in striking contrast to Gautham, who'd apparently won maximum number of votes.

Several pan pages on Twitter (now 'X') and Instagram also suggested the same. None of the two finalists, Nikhil and Gautham, accepted the golden suitcase offer.
