How A Commoner Can Get Into Bigg Boss House? When the Bigg Boss reality show debuted in South India, people went crazy and the regional versions in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam were highly successful. The earlier seasons had notable actors, anchors, and celebrities as contestants, which made the viewers more hooked on the show.

As we all know how the makers of the show come up with different patterns and schemes for the next seasons, in the Telugu version of the Bigg Boss show, the entry of a commoner contestant began with season 2. Process of Selecting Contestants For Bigg Boss Show
The process of selection for the reality show is lengthy and tedious, especially for a commoner. After approaching the show producers which they have to do, in contrary to the celebrities, they are asked for their basic information before calling for an interview.

After the interview process is completed, it might take about one month for the team to revert. If they offer the opportunity, they will communicate through mail. There will be a thorough medical checkup for the finalized contestants and they are given allowed to take part in the show after the medicals are up to the mark. For every season the makers will interview about 60 people and pick 20 out of them.

Remuneration For A Commoner Contestant
While the celebrity contestants are offered remuneration as per their current earnings, the weekly payments in Bigg Boss are different for every contestant. For commoners, the amount might be less but it is said to be lucrative.
