Bramayugam is the latest and super hit film of Malayalam superstar Mammootty that was released earlier this month in Kerala and other parts of the world. Written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, the movie has been shaking the box office records ever since it hit the screens.

Bramayugam Synopsis

Thevan (Arjun Ashokan), who escapes from the Portugese slavery wants to flee to his village and misses his route in the forest. He enters the almost dilapidated building owned by Kodumon Potti (Mammootty), who lives along with his cook (Sidharth Bharathan). Unfortunately, Thevan, who escapes death once becomes trapped inside the house.

The release day box office collection (Telugu) of Mammootty's Bramayugam is estimated to touch Rs 50 Lakh and upwards. However, this is just an approximate value and it could change by the end of the day.

Bramayugam Cast

The movie stars Mammootty as Kodumon Potti aka the goblin aka Chaathan, Arjun Ashokan plays the character of Thevan, a folklore singer, Sidharth Bharathan is seen as Kodumon Potti's cook, Amalda Liz as Kodumon Potti's succubus, and Manikandan R. Achari played the role of Kora, Thevan's friend among others.

The movie Bramayugam was produced by Chakravarthy, Ramachandra, and S. Sashikanth under the Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios banner. Shehnad Jalal cranked the camera and Shafique Mohammed Ali worked as the editor. Christo Xavier composed the film's background score and music. Bramayugam's dialogues were penned by T.D Ramakrishnan while Rahul Sadasivan wrote the story, and screenplay, and helmed the movie.
