Bramayugam To Release In Telugu: Malayalam superstar Mammootty's latest horror thriller titled 'Bramayugam,' is setting the cash registers ringing after it hit the screens on February 15 amid decent expectations. The movie, written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan is raving hihgly positive reviews.

Mammootty has been reinventing himself with each film and character that he is portraying of late and his films have gained a decent fanbase in the other language regions as well, especially after the lockdown.

Mammootty portrayed a never-seen-before avatar of Kudumon Potty the evil goblin, which is said to be one of his finest performances in recent times. Mammootty's carefully designed body language, his tone and tenor, his makeup and look have come out perfectly, making Bramayugam one of the must-watch films for various reasons.

The story has been inspired by the character of Kunchamon Potti, witchcraft from 'Aithihyamala.'

One of the enthusiastic and successful filmmakers of Tollywood, Sithara Entertainments bagged the Telugu dubbing rights to this Black and White film that is now running successfully in the theatres in Kerala and other parts of the world.

As per the official information, the movie Bramayugam's Telugu version will hit the screens on February 23 in the two Telugu-speaking states.

Bramayugam Cast

The movie stars Mammootty as Kodumon Potti aka the goblin aka Chaathan, Arjun Ashokan plays the character of Thevan, a folklore singer, Sidharth Bharathan is seen as Kodumon Potti's cook, Amalda Liz as Kodumon Potti's succubus, and Manikandan R. Achari played the role of Kora, Thevan's friend among others.

The movie Bramayugam was produced by Chakravarthy, Ramachandra, and S. Sashikanth under the Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios banner. Shehnad Jalal cranked the camera and Shafique Mohammed Ali worked as the editor. Christo Xavier composed the film's background score and music. Bramayugam's dialogues were penned by T.D Ramakrishnan while Rahul Sadasivan wrote the story, and screenplay, and helmed the movie.
