Buddy OTT Release: Where To Watch Allu Sirish's Latest Action Drama By Sam Anton?
Buddy OTT Release Date & Platform: After tasting success with 'Uravashivo Rakshasivo,' Allu Sirish is back on the silver screen two years later with an action entertainer titled Buddy. Written and directed by Sam Anton, the movie features Gayathri Bhardwaj and Prisha Rajesh Singh as the two female leads.
Buddy movie was released worldwide on August 2 after several postponements due to negative-to-mixed reactions at the box office. Fans, movie lovers and critics opined that the movie has nothing special to offer and could have been released directly on the OTT.
The makers denied that Buddy is an official remake of a Tamil film titled Teddy which was released in 2021 featuring Arya in the lead. However, Sirish said that they have taken a point from Teddy and built Buddy around it.
Buddy Synopsis
Aditya Ram (Allu Sirish) is a pilot and Pallavi (Gayathri Bharadwaj) works as a Air Traffic Controller in Vishakhapatnam. Aditya is in a crisis due to a workplace accident. Pallavi, who wants to reconnect with Aditya gets kidnapped and her soul gets separated from her body. Pallavi's soul is trapped in a teddy bear. Aditya now collaborates with the teddy bear to end the goons and find Pallavi's body.
Buddy OTT Release On Netflix
After an unsuccessful box office stint, Buddy movie is going to hit the OTT platform very soon. The latest information reveals that the movie might hit the digital streaming platform in the first week of September. Once it lands on Netflix, the movie will be available to watch in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Kannada along with Telugu. An official announcement is awaited about the date.

Hiphop Tamizha composed the film's entire sound and music. Ruben worked as the editor and Senthil Raghavan was the Art Director.
