Buddy OTT Rights: Allu Sirish's 'Teddy' Remake Film Signs Digital Streaming Platform; Details

Allu Sirish's Buddy OTT Rights Sold: Buddy is the latest movie featuring Allu Sirish, who was last seen in a box-office success titled 'Urvashivo Rakshasivo.' The movie was released in 2022 and after a long gap, the young actor from the Allu family is going to enthrall his fans.

Titled Buddy, this new action drama is a remake of a Tamil film named 'Teddy,' in which Arya and Sayyessha played the lead pair. Directed by Sam Anton, the movie is now in the last leg of its post-production phase and is going to be released shortly.

Buddy First Single 'Aa Pilla Kanule' Dropped

Buddy movie makers have also released the first track from the film called 'Aa Pilla Kanule,' on May 15, which struck a chord with music lovers already. The song was composed by Hiphop Tamizha and is a melody.

Buddy OTT Rights Secured

This Sam Anton directorial movie sealed its digital streaming deal with none other than Netflix. In an official confirmation, it was revealed that Netflix shelled out a decent sum of money to secure the OTT rights of Allu Sirish's Buddy. After the film hits the theatres and completes its successful run, it will soon head for the OTT release on Netflix.

Hiphop Tamizha composed the film's entire sound and music. Ruben worked as the editor and Senthil Raghavan was the Art Director.

Teddy is a 2021 fantasy action film written and directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. The movie was a box office success and it is one of the few films that enjoys a good TRP on television screening. The story revolves around the soul of a human who gets into a Teddy Bear and befriends the owner of the bear.
