Megastar Chiranjeevi, the biggest Telugu film star and the recent Padma Vibhushan awardee continues to deliver hits even after four decades as a protagonist. He is now working on a massive project titled 'Vishwambhara,' directed by young Tollywood filmmaker Mallidi Vashishta. The movie is a socio-fantasy drama starring Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.

This socio-fantasy film has generated a lot of buzz. The makers have allocated the highest budget ever for a Chiranjeevi film. Shooting began earlier this year, and several schedules have been completed with the important cast. About 30% of the talkie part is finished, reportedly.

'Vishwambhara' is being made in five languages and will be released as a pan-India film for the epic Sankranti festival season. To achieve this, the team has roped in actors from various languages. Interestingly, they have chosen a young Telugu hero for a pivotal role.

This young hero is Naveen Chandra, known for his unique acting style. He will play the brother-in-law of Chiranjeevi in the film. The latest information reveals that Naveen Chandra's character will betray Chiranjeevi, and this twist will be crucial to the story's progression. His role is expected to be a major highlight.

'Vishwambhara,' produced by UV Creations, also stars Trisha as the female lead, with Surabhi and Eesha Chawla playing key roles. Keeravani is composing the music. The film is slated for release on January 10th, 2024.
