Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara Release Date: This Epic Supernatural Film By Vassishta Will Hit Screens On THIS Day

Vishwambhara Release Date Out: Megastar Chiranjeevi Konidela, who recently was conferred with the second highest civilian honour, Padma Vibhushan, is now going to kick-start the filming of his exciting upcoming project titled 'Vishwambhara.' Written and directed by Mallidi Vassishta, the movie is touted to be an epic socio-fantasy.

After the humongous success of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Bimbisara, the then-debut director Vassishta became a sensation in Tollywood. Although he signed Bimbisara 2 for Kalyan Ram, his love for Chiranjeevi prompted him to break the agreement and make this epic socio-fantasy film with Chiranjeevi in the lead role.

The official pooja ceremony for Vishwambhara was held on October 23, 2023, in Hyderabad. The entire crew of this Mega 156 came together for the same. The prestigious Oscar Award winner MM Keeravani was signed for this project to compose its entire background score and music.

Vishwambhara Release Date Out

The latest buzz around Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara gave clarity on the film's release date for Sankranti of 2024. It was announced that this film will hit the screens for Sankranti but the recent update is that it will be released worldwide on a mammoth scale on January 10.

From what was revealed by the filmmakers, as many as 13 sets will be built for the filming of Vishwambhara in Hyderabad under the direction of Production Designer AS Prakash. The movie is going to rely heavily on Visual Effects and CG, almost 70 %.

In addition, as per the news reports, Sarigama distributors have shelled out Rs 18 Crore for the overseas theatrical rights of Vishwambhara. This is a rare feat and one-of-its-kind for a film that didn't even begin filming.

UV Creations banner helmed by Pramod Uppalapati, Vikram Reddy, and V Vamsi Krishna Reddy has earmarked about Rs 200 Crore to fund this film. Chota K. Naidu will crank the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao will handle the editing of this film. Sai Madhav Burra is working on the dialogues.
