Chorudu (Kalvan) OTT Release Date Locked: GV Prakash Kumar's Latest Survival Thriller In Telugu Will Stream On

GV Prakash Kumar Kalvan OTT Release Date Fixed: Kalvan GV Prakash Kumar's latest survival thriller is now ready for its digital streaming debut. The movie written and directed by PV Shankar, who earlier made 'Ratchasan,' was released theatrically on April 4 to mixed reviews from the critics.

After the film's disappointing performance, the makers of the film revoked their decision to release the movie in Telugu. Kalvan also marks the second collaboration of GV Prakash Kumar and Ivana as the leading pair.

Kalvan, however, was dubbed in Telugu as Chorudu and the movie is also going to be making its direct digital streaming debut this month. The film's streaming rights are secured by OTT giant Disney Plus Hotstar, along with Tentkotta and Simply South.

The movie is based against the backdrop of a forest where the protagonist had to deal with challenging situations posed by wild animals included.

Kemban wants to take up job as a anti-poaching watcher of the Elephants but learns that he needs to give a bribe of Rs 2 Lakh. What will he do? How does he realize his dream? is the crux of Chorudu.

Chorudu OTT Release Date In India & Abroad
Disney Plus Hotstar officially announced the streaming debut of Kalvan and Chorudu movie as on May 14. But, for movie lovers living abroad, GV Prakash Reddy's film will start streaming on May 10, four days before its local release.

Chorudu Cast

The movie stars GV Prakash Kumar as Kembaraju aka Kemban, as the protagonist. Legendary Bharathiraja played an important role in the film along with Ivana who played the role of Balamani, Dheena as Soori, G Gnanasambandam as Balamani's father, Vinodh Munna, and Maruthupandi among others in key roles.

Written and directed by P.V Shankar, the movie was produced by G Dilli Babu under his Axess Film Factory banner. GV Prakash Kumar composed the film's songs and Revaa composed the background score for the film. San Lokesh worked as the editor and PV Shankar also handled the film's cinematography.
