Darling Theatrical Rights Business & Break-Even Target: Written and directed by Aswin Raam, Darling is the latest romantic comedy-drama starring Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh as the lead pair. The movie which gained a decent pre-release buzz with its theatrical trailer is now ready to enthrall the audiences and film buffs on the big screen. Darling is hitting the screen on July 19 with paid premieres already screening.

Tollywood fans are awaiting a clean family comedy drama and the genre is quite popular on par with action dramas and horror thrillers. The pairing of Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh looked promising and garnered a decent buzz. Check out the trailer below the article.

Darling Synopsis

Raghav is a determined youngster who works at a travel firm. His ambition in life since childhood is to get married to a nice girl and immediately go to Paris for a honeymoon. He therefore meets Anandhi and finds out that she has multiple personality disorder. What Happens Next? is all about this comedy film.

Darling OTT Rights

The movie's satellite and digital streaming rights were also sold weeks before the theatrical release. One of the leading OTT giants Disney Plus Hotstar bagged the streaming rights for all southern languages for Rs 6 Crore, reportedly. Adding the satellite rights, the movie made Rs 8 Crore from the sale of non-theatrical rights. Once the movie completes its theatrical run, it will be available for streaming through the OTT platform.

The movie, which was made on a budget of about Rs 8 Crore, has earned Rs 7 Crore from selling away the theatrical rights. The movie is required to make over Rs 8 Crore to achieve the break-even target.

Bankrolled by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under the Primeshow Entertainment banner, the movie has its music and background score composed by Vivek Sagar. Naresh Ramadurai worked as the cinematographer while Pradeep E Raghav was the film's editor.
