Devara Box Office Collection Day 1 India: Jr NTR aka Tollywood's 'Young Tiger' hit the silver screen after a long wait of six years with writer-director Koratala Siva's action drama titled Devara. The movie Devara: Part 1 was released to humongous pre-release buzz, record-making advance bookings, and sky-high expectations on September 27 worldwide.

Featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in their Tollywood debut, the Devara movie earned the craziest pre-sales figures all over the world and met with great enthusiasm at the theatres. The movie, however, is earning a divided response but has its moments that shine brilliantly on the big screen.

Jr NTR's movie opened to massive numbers and that is expected anyhow. But the movie set the biggest record in advance ticket sales both in India and in the USA (northern part). Devara: Part 1 was released in five languages and the Hindi bookings picked up towards the end of the release day. Going by the information that is available on the Sacnilk website, Jr NTR's Devara movie earned about Rs 82.5 Crore on its first day in India from five languages. In Nizam region alone, Jr NTR's film made Rs 22.55 Crore.

Devara Cast
The movie stars Jr NTR in a dual role as Deva and Vara. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are making their Telugu debut with Koratala Siva's directorial. Saif will play the role of Bhaira. In addition, the movie features seasoned actors Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Shruti Marate, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Chaithra Rai, and Abhimanyu Singh.

Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna produced the movie under the Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts banner. R Rathnavelu was the cinematographer, and A Sreekar Prasad was the film's editor.
