Devara OTT Release & Platform: After a eternity-like wait, Tollywood's 'Young Tiger' Jr NTR hit the screens worldwide with an action drama genre written and directed by Koratala Siva. Titled Devara: Part 1, the movie which has Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles was theatrically released amid roof-shattering expectations on September 27. Devara was released in five languages at a time (available in IMAX format also) and is earning pretty good reviews.

Fans are excited about Devara as Jr NTR is back on the silver screen after six long years (excluding RRR). The movie marks the second collaboration between Koratala and Jr NTR. Anirudh Ravichander made an impact with his music and score by working with the actor-director for the first time.

Devara Synopsis

Devara (Jr NTR) is a leader of Yerra Samudram, a conglomeration of four villages on the hill near Ratnagiri. He along with Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan) and Narappa (Srikanth) accept money in exchange for looting the container ships for Muruga (Murali Sharma). One day, when Devara finds out that the shipment has weapons that are being used against people, he decides to stop the activity which enrages Bhaira. Bhaira then uses Narappa to plot the death of Devara. After killing all of them who attacked him, Devara leaves a message for the villagers and Bhaira that he will not spare anyone if they dare to go to the sea for smuggling. After 12 years, Vara (Jr NTR) Devara's son grows up into a coward. Bhaira then sends Vara to the sea to steal a shipment full of weapons. Did Devara attack his son Vara? How did Devara disappear? The answers to these questions form the crux of Devara: Part 1.

Devara OTT Platform Fixed

The leading OTT giant Netflix India shelled out huge money to acquire the post-release digital streaming rights of Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan's action drama, Devara: Part 1. The official date of streaming is, however, awaited.

Devara Cast
The movie stars Jr NTR in a dual role as Deva and Vara. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are making their Telugu debut with Koratala Siva's directorial. Saif will be seen playing the role of Bhaira. In addition, the movie features seasoned actors in the form of Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Shruti Marate, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Chaithra Rai, and Abhimanyu Singh.

Devara Crew
Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna produced the movie under the Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts banner. R Rathnavelu was the cinematographer, and A Sreekar Prasad was the film's editor. Anirudh Ravichander composed electrifying music and a background score for Jr NTR for the first time with Devara.
